Hello, The H.E.L.P is an acronym for Healing & Empowering Lone Parents. It makes possible the coordination; encouraging and representation of very diverse people from all walks of life whose circumstances of parenting alone ranges from widowhood to rape. It provides a voice and a platform from which they can network. The H.E.L.P was pioneered in response to the isolation they experience and a need for recognition from communities that so easily ignores their needs and bypasses their potential to contribute positively to society.
The HELP is founded on Christian principles for personal responsibility, family life, purposeful living and healthy relationships.Through its many activities The HELP aims to heal broken hearts and empower lone parents and their children to excel. It does this by reaffirming the positive qualities of the individuals and stabilizing them in their faith, whilst giving them practical support to find and pursue a purposeful life.
